B16 isn't that great if you spend 2300 and leave it stock, or even throw on I/H/E for that matter. That's what GSR's, LSVTEC, CRVTEC's and ITR's are for.

B16 N/A = cash chucker
D series = slum lord

exactly my point, b16 = 2300 swap... b18 LS or anything else just seems like a better deal IMO... im not bashin b series, just the price of a b16 for its HP
 
well, I will disagree - and that is from my experience (guess it depends if you do your own labor and have a decent connection for parts)

I got my SiRII motor with a S4 tranny for 1300 complete with an extra ecu, harness, and some Si headrests. Not bad if you ask me, exhaust through group buy at 350, ITR header for 300, flywheel for 200, clutch for 180, ghetto faux CAI for 100, and pretty much there you have it - 13.3.............
