i had my b16a delsol running realy well untill the lil black and yellow power wire in my wiring shorted out and burned my dash harness and ecu.i put in a new dash harness and got a vergin p28 ecu.i had a p28 in it before,but it was chipped for a turbo application,i had it tuned with my vafc to over ride the chip.it ran realy well,untill the short.now it runns horrible,the idle fluctuates realy bad so i figure its either my tps or iac. and it runs pretty rough and i think rich too.

my question is...

would a stock b16a run decent on the p28 ecu,or do i have to have it tuned for different maps?

get the P28 chipped and throw a stock B16 map on it

It should run ok; vtec engagements and high rpm driving will be out of whack. Idle should be nearly the same.
