B16a Distributor

so here's my confussion. I have a b18c head that needs a new distributor. I have found several for around three hundred but I also found two complete b16a's with distributor for cheap. these are both 1990 b16a's will there distributor work on my 94 b18c head?

looks like u need a obd 1 distributor. 90 b16 came with a obd 0. they will bolt up, but the wiring wont match to your car. also u can also use a obd 1 LS distributor if u grind off one leg.

you can take the guts out of any obd-1 dizzy and rebuild that gsr unit. I have a 93 LS distributor(front leg ground off) on a b16a. The bearing/bushing went out last week(started squealing), so I used good rotating assembly from a 94 H23A distributor. Not to mention the coil and ignitor are from a 93 civic Si. Talk about a frankenstein. But, hey, the dealer wants almost as much as what the B16 engine cost me ($500).

Let me know if you want to sell the broken gsr distributor.
