b16a ecu being changed to a gsr ecu

ok guys its a stock 99 si with the b16a2 but my freind gat a obd2 gsr ecu every thing pluged in but the car will not start please help if you pm me it will better

Why would you use a GSR ECU on a B16A2? Also the 99-00 Si is OBD IIb.

ok i have done this before on a 92 with a b16a with a gsr tranny and it run alot harder but this obd2 shit is not working it won't even turn on the car i heard this things have a cut off switch in them

some 98+ ecus do in fact have an imobilizer on them.

but, like john said, running a gsr ecu on a b16 motor is pretty pointless... the b16 ecus' have the best oem ignition map out there
