This weekend I finally got time to put the engine/transmission back together (after scattering the trans. and putting in new synchros and an LS fifth gear. My original flywheel has nine bolts holding the pressure plate to the flywheel....this Exedy lightweight one only has six......and I'm a little nervous about eliminating fasteners on something that's going to get driven like it's stolen......if the Honda engineer that designed this thing put nine bolts holding the pressure plate on.....there just might have been a reason.

Comments? Suggestions? Been there?

Do I ignore it and assemble it, have it drilled and tapped, or just shit-can the damned thing and use the stocker....

Their "tech-line" is about as useless as tits on a chicken....

Don't strike me that Honda would waste 3 bolts. They'll sweat steel to elim-
inate a couple ounces. Don't use it.
