B16a Not Not A1 A2 Or A3

    I have a b16a that came from a junk yard I thinks its obd 1 but I could be wrong the only clue I have is that it has hydro tranny it also has obd 1 ditributer but I am not sure what the harness is oh well if you can help I would apreciate it

    What car did it come out of?What is the serial number on the block?How do you know it is a OBD I distributor?

    Just look at the block if it says B16A, you know you have a 2nd gen B16A, if it says B16A2 you have a 99-00 Si motor, if it says B16A3, which it probably won't, you have a del sol VTEC motor.

    What's the likeliness of finding a siR or siR II motor in a junkyard?
