B16A P30 knock sensor board function ?

Hi sir ,
could anyone tell me what is the function of the B16A P30 ECU knock sensor board ?
why the P08 and P30 ECU almost the same just the difference of having with a knock sensor board or
without it ?
Any one know how to do chipping on this both ECU ?
Why some people say with using the D15B SOHC Vtec ECU P08-901 modify the Chipping then it can be
use for manual and auto transmission car ?

They look smiliar because they are the same board. The P30 just has a knock board and an 02 sensor heater circuit when compared to the P08. Any of these ECUs can be converted from auto to manual and vice versa. Ask someone who sockets ECUs or check out PGMFI.org (read the Wiki, all of it).
