B16A -perfecly machined, not threaded hole in the back of my block

There is a perfectly machined hole next to where the oil filter goes, it is not threaded and the engine ran fine with nothing in it. I dont know what goes there. There was nothing there in the old B16a, now that I have rebuilt it and gone with a differant block I would like to make it right. The holes are identical in both blocks. Please view the attachment and help!!!

Great, thanks alot. I thought the little black box was from the D16 the guy gave me with the CRX when I bought it. Thanks again!!
