recently i broke a pulley off of my 1st gen b16a motor. it wasnt the power steering. it didnt appear to be the a/c belt. it wasnt on the same loop as the alternator belt is because that was still on.

but the power steering and the other 'mystery' belt were dislodged and off. i was wondering if this was a critical system.

if the alt is still on then the only belts left are the a/c which has a tentioning pully in its loop and then the p/s which only hits the unit pully and the crank pully
