i am going to put a b16a sir 1 in my 91 civic hb dx, but i am not shore it will work. can someone help, and also what does ZC mean?

ZC means overseas motor,D series family.B16A1 into a 91 civic is a great idea.Checkout HAsport for details and needed parts to make it easier. You need a mount kit, modified shiftlinkage, some wiring.

it is a very good idea, just some wiring

you will need some new axles depending on the tranny

an injector resistor box, and some custom mounts (see hasport.com or ebay for cheaper ones, the only frame modification is for the alternator, nothing a 3 pound sledge will not take care of
:p
all in all a fairly easy swap, thanks to the guys around here educating me!!
:)
and oh yeah, the l bracket at the rear of the tranny on my engine was sliced in half i had to get from a recking yard. And oh yeah you need new shifter linkage, i took mine from a second generation integra (i haven't done the swap yet, but i suspect that i will have to modify the linkage a little)
well i hope this helps in your decision.
