b16a swap to 91 dx

    i am ordering a b16a engine swap for my 91 dx. is it a direct bolt in?

    NO!!!!

    If your ordering a b16 get it from Steve at hmotorsonline.com. He is good. He is one of the only (and by far the most) reputable dealers of JDM engines in america.

    You NEED:
    mounts: $350 (GET HASPORT)
    Shift Linkage: $50-150 (GET HASPORT)
    Wiring Conversion from DPFI to MPFI (Dual Point Fuel Injection to Multi Point Fuel Injection): either buy a conversion harness for $150 or do it yourself.
    You'll also have to do some very minor frame alterations see hasport.com

    You should replace:
    The Clutch: $100-$350 (I recomend Excedy, but act also makes REALLY good performance clutches, but they're more expensive)
    Timing Belt: $75
    Water Pump: $40
    Spark Plugs and Wires (OEM HONDA ONLY): $50
    Distributor cap and rotor: $40

    yeah check out those links and do a little searching around, its not hard, but make sure you know what your getting into...
