B16a wont start need help ASAP!

alright well i eliminated the fuel pressure by spraying some starter fluid into the TB and it still wouldnt start i then checked my timing and it was all out of whack and i replaced my fuel filter. so after doing all this i tried cranking it again while someone sprayed starting fluid into the TB and still didnt fire up fuel pressure or not it should start with that sprayed into it. so im beginning to think its my distributor..

UPDATE: intake cam slipped 2 teeth some how, does this mean i bent the valves? or messed anything else up?

hey best thing to do is call the dealer or a good import mechanic and talk to them it might have depending on how close your valves are to the piston..

runs now. thanks for everyones help adjusted the cam gear and presto fired right up was out of time thanks again.

Congrats on finding the problem. Did you replace your belt or reuse? Personally, any time a belt slips, I replace, usually becuse it can be streatched from the slip. Just a fyi from my experience.
