Finally got my motor running and now it's having an Ideling problem. I think that it has to do with the evap purge valve. The car is fine right when I start it up then after 10 seconds I think the computer kicks in and it starts to idle up and down a little in between 1000-1100 rpms and just keeps going back and forth. I used the obdo b16 map sensor and evap purge valve, there is a plug that needs to be plugged in, but I don't have it on my car since it's obd1. I think I need to replace it with an obd1 version??? Would there be any other reason that it is ideling high and unevenly???

Could be a number of things, bad sensor, sensor not plugged in, vacuum leal, mixed up plugs, coolant and on and on. You need to get all the wiring right and finished, then start troubleshooting.
