Would it be worth swappin in a b16a2 into a 93 4 dr civic or not and why?
 
yeah, it's a standard trans., but the thing that i want to know is would it be pretty quick?

"quick" is like beauty- it's in the eye of the beholder.

to someone used to a stock DX, yeah, it will seem fast... for like a month. lol

its JUST a b16... don't expect to be the fastest kid on the block with it and all that... cuz you won't be (unless your block sucks :D )

but, it will be SIGNIFICANTLY faster than the stock motor, thats for sure and more fun to drive.

is it worth it? for sure. I'm a huge b-series fan. d-series suck :)

lol, mike yours isn't exactly a b16 though.

A b16 is a hell of alot faster than a d-series and with its 8200 redline, it makes driving fun.
 
Sure it is- I have a B16 head on it. :lol:

The B16 straight swap on its own is definitely worth it. The power band from a bone stock B16 is really nice and smooth- it's very easy and fun to drive.

Just finished this conversion into '93 4 door and the JDM B16A howls! You can really wind that DOHC VTEC out on the freeway (legally of course)
