Why does a b16a2 swap cost about 1000$ more than a b16, is it just cuz u get a hydro tranny and all odb1 stuff?

No it's not the same, the 92+ jdm b16's have higher compression and a little more aggressive cam profile. And they are a lot younger for two. I have had the experience of using both of them, and I DONT recommend a first gen b16 even if it's going into a 4th gen body.

please stop confusing the b16a SiR2 with the b16a2

Here's some more confusion, SiR and SiRII have both been around since 89. They are just trim levels like DX, CX, HF, Si, whatever. Cool huh?

Milan, you don't suggest the 1st gen b16a for the 4th gen civics? Why not? OBD1 conversion a better idea?
