B18 maximum safe compression?

    Hey. How far can you boost compression on a B18 engine? A dude offered me to put a turbo into a '94 Civic ESI Im pickin up from a lot. Its already got an engine swap. I dont know too much about turbos, I stay away from them as a general rule. Any advice? :confused:

    really depends on your available/desired fuel and tuning device + tuner ability.

    test drive it and listen for any ping, detention , or any other mayor problems .. and while your out test driving it take it to your mech, or someone you trust and know his stuff.

    I've played north of 13:1 on 93 octane gas...
