Sup fellas, i have a 91 b18a in my 91 hf crx.

The car runs fantastically when you jam on the gas, but it seems to be running very rich, you can definatly smell the extra fuel, and the excess is causing visible exhaust gases to be expelled from the exhaust under hard acceleration.

Is this a fuel pressure problem or somehting else? It is all stock parts, the injectors are LS the ecu is stock LS.

any ideas folks??

It could be a variety of things... TPS, MAP, or O2 sensor might have fallen out of calibration or something amongst those lines.

What are you running for an exhaust system? I've got two friends running cat-deletes and both their cars run rich. I'm guessing since you live in CA, you're running a catalytic converter still?

stock header but a 2 3/4 stainless exhaust all the way back, no cats

why would the exhaust being like that make it run rich???

its not ridiculously rich, it is just on the rich side, and you can definatly smell it
