If I am correct, a stock '91 LS comes with a B18a. How much difference is there (in size and performance) in a B18c V-TECH motor. If it would even be possible to switch it out, would it be worth it? (Used kit goes for $4950 @ http://www.nippon-motors.com/Performance%20Engines.htm) Also is it possible to bore out the heads any more? (apparently it won't work because the aluminum casing or something but I just wanted to be sure)

i'm not gonna comment on the VTECH thing cuz someone else is just going to flame your ass for it later anyway. as far as size goes, the b18a is actually bigger than the b18c. performance wise, it is a lot better. boring out the head??? do you mean porting it?

B18C1 = 1797 CC's - 170 HP

B18A1 = 1834 CC's - 140 HP

If you get an OBD1 B18C then its just a matter of wiring the VTEC and replacing the GSR intake manifold with a Skunk2 Unit... Using the Stock Integra Tranny, axles and mounts it will slide right in.

Since you have a 91 integra (obd0) you may want to find a PR3 or PW0 ECU... or convert to OBD1 using a P72 ECU...

Im sure he gets it... everyone can stop adding thier .02 cents now...

If you need anymore help, feel free to post...

I haven't heard very good things about nippon motors either.
