B18a Vs B20b

Im swapping a new motor in my car and I have a choice between b18 or b20, the application will be a small turbo and direct port nit. can you pleae help me pick which block would be better and why.

b20b, not b20z - if you're running a turbo, you'll almost definately blow it up.

if you are not going to re sleeve it use a b18 because the b20 has weak sleeves

B20 sleeves suck. B18a's & B18b's can make huge numbers on stock internals with boost.

Go B18 unless you are doing a full build.

i have had a B20z and a B18a1 in my crx's. my personal opinion would be: to get the B18. and turbo that. just like what everyone else has said. the B20 has weak sleeve's. but if you plan on doing an engine rebuild then go with the B20!!
