my 92 teg blew a rod bearing so i found a 94 motor to put in while i rebuild the b18a1 but this b1 motor doesn't have anywhere near the power the a1 did any suggestions?

Could be a numer of things. Have you checked the compression? Running it on the proper ECU? Everything wired correctly? These motors are different OBDs, which I am sure you know already if it is even running.

All four cylinders are firing, no missing, smoke, CELs? Any other clues?

it runs good its just alot slower now it doesn't miss has good copression and i am running it on the pr4 ecu do you think i should switch ecu's?

As a general rule of thumb, always use the ecu that comes with the corresponding engine from the factory.

PGMFI.org has info you may want to read about compatibility, as some ecus will run multiple motors fine.
