b18al/b1 ?

i did some searching for the answer to my question but i havent found anything,

i have a b18a1. i found b18b1 head PR4-5 - i know that every part will fit the same except the cams are different...

now for my ?
if i was to get this head will my cams work in this head w out probs? i know the cam lobs are higher in on a b1 cam.

i would say you should put your cams in that head and measure the clearances. max journal runout is .0006 in. camshaft bearing clearance is between .002 -.004 in. and camshaft endplay should be between .002 -.006 in. if these numbers check out then youre good to run

thanks mans, i found one for 95 bucks on ebay... i prolly wont get my xtra 10 hp out of it but i just want it running not gonna push it hard till i get it all fixed like it needs to be .. thanks for the info man. now off to ebaaaaaaay.. lol
