i threw a rod on my ls motor. i was looking to go turbo over the summer and someone offered to sell me crower rods and 8.5:1 pistons for 500. should i rebuild my bottom end with them and have my block fixed or buy a new block all together and put the new shit in there. i need to get my car back on the road what should i do?

howmuch damage was done when you threw the rod??? be specific...otherwise i cant help you

if its cheaper to repair the block do that

if not buy a new one
