What is the best thing to do with my b18b1 engine in my 99 HB.

I want to convert it to vtec and then Turbo, what number am I looking at and what is the best head and turbo for this engine?

I am new to hondas I have a BMW as my daily driver just decided to start a lil JDM project.

    Thanks.:)

    Budget?

    And its vtec. not vtech.

What kind of power do you want to put down?

    Track? Circuit? Drag? street? autox?

JDM just because its a nifty buzz word? Any reasoning behind that?

I want to put down atleast 250+ on this block is it posible? this block has only 70k miles on it and it is a 1996 integra LS.

It will be only used for drag.

What head to put on since that would be the first thing I am doing.

    Thanks

250 is possible, turbo would be easiest. Run a compression check on the motor before you do anything else, make sure its healthy.

Actually, to keep it simple, why not skip the vtec head and go straight for the turbo? You can make 250hp with a b18b1 and a proper turbo and fuel management/tuning.

Now, by drag, do you mean rolling around on the streets doing stop light races or are you talking about 1/8th or 1/4 mile? Does the car need to be street legal?
