B18b1 in my 96 dx hatch, questions.

Ok so I want to put a USDM B18B1 in my 96 dx hatch, will it be smog legal in california if I use the usdm motor? Im not planning on do any other performance upgrades to the engine at most would be headers, CAI, and catback exhaust.
