b18b1 swap in 94 civic will not rev past 3000 rpm

put a 1994 b18 in a 94 civic the car, was auto converted to 5 speed motor wa srunning before putting it in the car. Also put the b18 computer in the car . the car will not rev past 3000 rpm's. Do i need to change the instrument cluster or any others suggestions

I would check your injectors, make sure that all the plugs are snug and on right. I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a plug came lose somehow.

any check engine light? if so have you run the codes?

its running limp mode if its not going past 3. or is it 5 it wont go past for limp mode? im still new to odb1. either way something isnt wired up right probably
