I'm planning a B18b1 swap for my '94 hb, and would like to just how current a model year I can use and still keep it a drop-in swap. (I 'll talking taking everything from the same Integra)

Well, in 1996, they switched over to OBD2, so find a 1994 or 1995 motor and you swaps right in.
