i just swapped a '95 ls b18b1 into my '88 dx hb with b16a tranny...my question is "will it pass referee in cali??"...beside that, the car runs extremely strong, did upper/med 9s in an 1/8 of a mile while most b16s did low to med 10s

i think as long as you have all the necessary emission controls of the 95 engine and matching ecu you should be able to take it to a ref. for inspection
