Hey guys,
I have a B18C swap in a 2000 civic si and it still has the stock ecu. I am wondering what ecu would be the best for me to put in it? It has the stock obd2 in it and I have heard it would be wise to change to a p72 obd1. Would that be something I should look into? Thanks for any help or suggestions.

ok gsr or type r b18c? use the ecu for the motor - your car is obd2b you could jumper harness to an obd1 ecu but if you do why not get a chipped p28 to your setup

because the p28 doesn't have controls for the butterfly valves a gsr uses, it'd be best to get an obd1 p72 and obd1 conversion harness.

edit: if the b18c is obd2, get an obd2 ecu unless you plan on chipping it.
