b18c in a EG clutch issues

92 hatch with b18c1.... the clutch catches extremely close to the floor even though the clutch is virtually brand new. is there any way to adjust this? it just doesnt seem right, if it was ANY lower the clutch wouldnt work i dont think. do i need to bleed the system or something? any help would be appreciated... ive always had cable trannys before
 
From the sound of it the clutch may need some adjustment.

You say its a brand new clutch, how many miles on it?
 
im not sure exactly how many, maybe 3000 miles on the clutch. how do i adjust it? if someone could help me with this it would be great. its a hyrdaulic gsr trans
