I have a 98'dx coupe, eventually going to put in a gsr b18c (when I find one)...what all mods or converter kits do I need to use here as far as wiring? Going to try and find one the same OBD....but if I get an OBD1 at a good price I jumping on it....anyone got any feedback? I'm guessing I need mods/converter kit to recognize the vtech and to convert the OBD difference if I go that route.

If you get an OBD1 GSR engine, you will need the following:
OBD2A>OBD1 Jumper harness
OBD1 P72 (GSR) ECU

If you get an OBD2 GSR engine, you will need the following:
OBD2 P72(GSR) ECU.

The wiring is simple. You'll need to run wires for VTEC (pressure switch, and the solenoid itself), and you will also need to convert your IACV plug from a stock D16 (3 wire) to that of a B-Series which is a two wire. A writeup on that can be found here:
