B18C Into '97 Del Sol Si

First post, hey all...

I just purchased a 1997 Del Sol Si that has the SOHC VTECH engine. I was planning to dump about 5k into the car in the first few weeks, but then I got to thinking "Why put this money into an engine that will never be as good as a DOHC engine?". My answer; Put a B18C from a 93-97 GSR in it. I'm wondering if this will fit. Also, my Del Sol is an automatic transmission, the engine that I'm planning on buying comes with a transmission (manual). Will it be easy to do the conversion?

Did they make a sol in 97? I thought they stopped in 95. oh well.

next the b18c you want is a 94-01 motor, not a 93-97. good luck and happy hunting.
