just bought a 00 honda civic Si with a b18c and orng b16 tranny, 75 down thr high way runs me about 4,000 rpm......not good ?????
 
it's fine. it's built for that.
keep it in good shape(oil changes, good oil, etc..), and you'll be fine.
all the b16 trannies are like that.
 
yea.. at 80 it should sit at 4400 rpm.. a GSR tranny will sit at 4000 rpm at 80.. not much difference
 
hey thanks alot guys, i'm not to into honda that much, my first honda was a 97 dx with auto tranny, wanted to swap it out so bad, just never did then finaly got this, and not i guess its worth of keeping and putting some $$ into, i've learned alot on this site so far
 
B16 trannys are HORRIBLE on the highway, i hate it.. but oh well, i guess theres a sacrafice for quick short gears...lol
