b18c1 obd-2 to obd-1?

    i have a 1997 b18c1 motor so im guessing it has an obd-2 ECU,is it a good idea to make it an OBD-1? if so what do i need? :eek:

    what do you plan on doing with this engine? If you want to tune or boost in the future, then yes, it would be a good idea. If you're just doing it for the hell of it, well, there's really no point in that...

    Oh ok, you're swapping it. Yeah, using an OBD1 ECU and having it chipped would probably be your best bet here. You'll need a conversion harness to make everything work. I'd check out Rywire - Online Store...
