b18c1 or c5 into a del sol

Hi all,

I'm wondering what years I would be looking for cars that containt a b18c1 or c5 that would be compatible with a del sol(assuming any 93-97 del sol is the same...)

Here's the info I was able to gather from the internet:

B18C1 (GSR) 170hp
Found in:
1994-2001 USDM Integra GS-R (DC2/DB8)

B18C5 (Type-R) 197hp
Found in: USDM DC2 Acura Integra Type-R (Integra Type-R)
1997-2002 Integra Type-R (Note:1999 model CDM only)

So, will any 94-01 Integra GSR be compatible?? I'll probably pick up a car, and do the swap like that so i know im not missing anything and i know the engine runs :D Same with the Type-R, would any 97-02 Type-R work??

I was just thinking maybe I needed to look for a certain year that will be compatible.

So a 2002 integra GS-R will fit in a 93 sol??

no.. because there was no 2002 Gsr..lol.. only difference between years is the wiring
 
x2 there is no 02 GSR

make sure you are aware of the shift linkage GSR or ITR linkage will not fit 93-97 del sol. You will need to buy a OEM B16 del sol shift linkage. You can get one @ PWJDM
 
I am buying a b18c5 my self but yah like said above make sure linkage is right :p
