B18C1 would be more practical, whether it be for F/I, or N/A. The CTR IMO is a great engine, but the 118 ft/lb torque is a little....ehh, low. The GSR is a good platform for aftermarket items, the B16B is pretty much swap and enjoy.
For the price and overall everything, go with the b18c (IMO, go with an LS). CTR too expensive, and impractical since most motors that are swapped are going to be modded. So why pay $5000 for a motor that you'll be tearing apart? If you were to buy a B16B or a B18C5 it would more or less be a conversation piece. Yeah, it's great that you have the motor...but why mess with a $4000-5000 motor?Just my .02.......
