i have recently swaped my 1996 del sol 1.6 esi engine for a 2000 civic 1.8vti-s engine.

now i know the engine starts, runs and drives with a P28 ecu but i am not getting full power using this ecu, i have the 0bd2a (P9K) ecu at hand but have problems with the car not starting, this is due to the immobiliser.

i have the full car the engine came out of along with the keys only problem is there is no immobiliser present on the del sol and the ecu is searching for a immobiliser key.

now im stuck and stumped on how to get this ecu to work and what i need to do to get the car started cheapest way possible.

need to get car back on road for work as getting taxi to work 24miles there and 24miles back is costing me a bomb

thanks Gavin
