b18c5 in a del sol

me and a friend are getting ready to put a b18c5 in his sol. i had two major questions. we've both swapped motors before but only 1.6's. i had thought i had heard somewhere that a tranny mount needed to be removed and a new one put in when dropping in a 1.8, is this true? secondly, am i going to be able to use the stock shift linkage, or will i have to buy the VTEC del sol shift linkage? thanks in advance.

any time you put in a b series into a EG, you need the b series shift linkages, and since the sol is ghetto shape, the integras which work on civics, will not work on the sol, so, yes your right, you do need the del Sol shift linkages.

you need a delsol vtec shiftlinkage, and the moutn is fine.
