Hello - my first post to hondaswap...

    I'd like to swap the D16Y7 in my newly-acquired 99 EJ6 with a B18C5.

From what I have read so far, and assuming that I obtain a 99-00 B18C5, this is what I will need:

    - 99-00 Si front tranny mount
    - 99-00 Si rear tranny mount
    - 99-00 Si driver side mount
    - 96-97 del Sol AC bracket (for A/C)
    - Integra shift linkage
    - 99-00 Si axles

Both my 99 EJ6 and the engine will be OBD2, so no issues there, right?

What about the exhaust, can I use the existing catback exhaust or do I need the Integra exhaust?

How do I wire in the VTEC cables to my existing harness?

Out of curiousity, what else would I need if I were swapping a JDM B18C Spec R instead of a B18C5? a different ECU? if so, which one?

thanks for such an excellent reference.

Thanks for the links... I saw those threads already in the Reference section.

I don't understand what the VTEC article is telling me... where does the 1P connector go in the DX harness?

also, what would I need to do to use a JDM B18C Spec R instead of a B18C5?

c'mon, n00b needs some help get him on the right path... ;-)

    tks.
