B18C5 To 83 mm?

Im planing on boring out my stock sleaves to 83mm . i have read that its ok ..has any one done this or know of any thing about this bore size? and would ls rods with apr rod bolts be ok with thiss set up....

that's not a good idea as the sleeves are a combination of steel inner liner and aluminum outer.If you bore it out that far you will have very thin steel liners= KABOOM. look into sleeving it if you want to bore that large. largest i've seen to bore stock sleeve is 81.5MM

ok I have decided to go with the 82 mm bore but will the stock ls rods hold up with apr bots

hmm......personally I would upgrade, I mean the eagle rods cost like 400 bucks, if not then shotpeen the ls rods.

I have read mixed emotions about using the ls rods in high rpms, in other words there are people out there running ls rods to high rpms and having them last.
