b20/ls vtec project

im going to build an engine.. but i dont know to either go with an ls.vtec or a b20 vtec.. right now money isnt an issue so maybe someone has done this already maybe they can give me an estimate of how much $$ for a ... around low 13's high 12's b20 v or lsv.??? like what vtec head should be better and tranny and all that.. thanks..oh by the way the car is a 93 ex coupe..5spd..currently in right now is a jdm d15b..vtec

If you want to run 13's to high 12's I would think a b20 with boost would work for you. havent done the b20 w/boost but that is the way i would go if i wanted to run those numbers. do you want to run all motor? decide how you want to make your power: NA or Forced Induction. as far as the tranny, i would try and get a JDM Type R with a factory LSD. if you can score a JDM Teggy Type R you will get dual syncro's in each gear, a great ratio and factory LSD.
