b20 or not to B20

    Ok theres a a guy buy me that has a B20B long block that he is trying to sell he wants 550 wich is around what he paid for it at Attraco, but he put new water pump and timing belt NGK plugs and wires.I talked him down to 400.His story about why he selling it makes no sense.He says its fine but he lost his licence and doesn't need it any more but he asked me if I knew anyone with a ls because he wants to get an ls instead.So I'm gonna take off the valve cover and check it out first.If its all good should i get it? Would it be better than my ZC mini me? Eventually I would do a crv/vetc. I don't know much about B series so anything would help:confused:

    sounds funny to me, but if the motor is ok thats a good price

    word,check the motor out,try to spin it wit your hand,listen closely for any odd sounds.ad of course do a general tunep before running it

    Sounds fishy but thats a grate price :), I would check it out and if its in good shape take it.. :)

    I would make some kind of contract so that if anything is wrong with the motor you can take it back to him, specially when caughing up $400.
