I was wondering if it would be a good idea to put a B20 block in my 92 honda hatch with my GSR head on it. A lot of ppl say that they work great but others say its somewhat of a frankenstein operation and dont reccomend it at all.

If done right it will last. If not it wont. Its that simple.

I assume you have a Civic HB...

Just do your research... if its built right, it will last. LSVTEC on here has a built LS bottom end with a B16 head and he has had it for awhile. After its built, break it in correctly, then have it tuned.

I still compare them to caravan transmissions...worthless. Unless it's a track car only I wouldn't reccomend it. It can be reliable, but for the money it takes to make it reliable you could have had a faster more reliable set up.

I'm not trashing the LSvtec or B20vtec, I think it's just because I don't have the money to build it right, right now.
