Just FYI, I broke this off and moved it into it's own thread. That other thread you posted in was from 2003, and none of the people posting there are around anymore, so I doubt you would have got much help from it.

As for how to build a reliable B20/VTEC, try looking at some of the hybrid articles in our FAQ/Reference section. Do some reading there and that should get you started...
 
yea do some research make sure u change ur oil and water pump to more high revving ones like the b16 or gsr alot of people make the mistake in not changin those
