you dont need to drill any holes, all vtec heads have a plug that you remove and thats were you feed your oil to your head.

I personaly like to use the gsr head becuse it adds a bit of compression and has quench pads that ward off detonation.

You MUST get ARP rod bolts, if you dont you will break one and fling a rod.

Treat this as a rebuild, and you Must tune it if you want good power and a long lasting engine.

Yes you do, You have to drill, tap and plug the VTEC oil supply hole in the bottom of the head.



As for the B20V question at hand I wouldnt do this conversion without swapping out the pistons for a higher compression set and installing ARP rod bolts in your rods.

Oh yeah and at the min on any B18a/b or B20 get ARP rod bolts. This will help hold the bottom end together. The B18a/b and B20 rod bolts are much smaller than Vtec motors have. This is all I am doing to my bottom end with my Ls Vtec.
