Sam I am

b20 Integra
B20 CRV Engine with 1991 Integra RS.

I have been running it for about 10 months fine and now the engine is revving quite high 2000-3200 rpm idle. I have taken it to a few mechanics and the consensus seems to be the ecu is the problem.

What would you recommend to have reliability and if possible boost performance from stock Integra b18 ecu?

Any help would be appreciated.

does it surge? any codes? Are there any other things wrong? I'd try cleaning out your IACV and FITV, and check for any vacuum leaks before suspecting the ecu. Also, check to see if there may be any air in your coolant passages.

Im not sure if you would have another computer lying around but, there is the good ol test that replace it, if it gets better its probably the ecu. But, not all of us have an extra ecu lying around. GOOD LUCK
