ok...im planning on buying a B20 sometime soon...I don't know if it is the B20b or B20z yet, but i really don't care...well i guess i do really...whatever, well, if i get the B20b what will i need to raise the cr from 8.8 to 9.2 or higher without spending a lot of money...would a 2 layer head gasket and milling the head down a little work?
....is milling the head or block down to raise my cr a bad idea?

    thicker headgasket = less compression.
a one layer is what you want.

milling can cause problems with large cams, and IMO, should only be done if necessary to make the head flat.
