I have a B20B block w/ a P8R-8 head the year code on the head is 9/9 wich = 1999 what car do I say it's for when I ask for parts at autoparts store? Honda CRV? But 1999 CRV's have B20Z block right? :confused: I need to buy new valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket and cam seal.
 
pretty much everything should be the same for b20z and b20b, as far as regular maint parts. in fact the parts you have listed should even be the same on a b18b as well.
 
yes, ask for the 99 crv. I have a B20 in my crx and I always get things for a crv.
