I have a big problem... i'm working on a civic 99 with a b16a swap, the shop where they do the swap is out of business. so i'm trying to resolve some problems but the b16a run but the MIL always stay on, no codes is displayed. the ecu is in back-up mode operation. i want to know if the back up mode can be reset or reprogrammed or if i must change the ecu

it *could* be wiring, but in all likelyhood SOLID CEL = dead ECU, particularly if the revlimit is 4000RPM and the idle sucks.
