yea banks suck, even though my mom works for bank of america and i get free checking :D the interest rates are queer. i have an account with a credit union too, its a shit load better. no fees, no bullshit, more than double the interest rate of CD's, savings accounts, and the interest rates for loans are a shit load smaller.

My bank is simply used for Checking. Savings? WTF is that? Buy some rare coins or something, they hold or increase value faster than any savings account when they are taken care of.

Well 3 years ago I would have said its all about stock, but yeah, now it is all about ownership and yeah, steady jobs. I have 4.2% at my BECU bank.
Boeing Employees Credit Union, they be getting laid off but they give hella good rates and loans to anyone.

i lost over $20,000 on my networth because of 9/11 and the stock droppage.

parents lost nearly 10 times that amount.

My ex co/worker's sister worked for juniper and had over 13 millino in the company alone when it was at 240 and a predicted split was coming, and yeah she still has the same amount of shares at like 13 bucks. Think of that hit! w0w.

Ahhh so True. I still don't think I've sunk 20 g's into my Civic... Well, not QUITE 20 g's... More like... oh... 19 and a half. ;) LOL.

At least I can say my car has blown off more than 100 times, and has a DOHC motor IN it presently.
