is there any difference other than the motor/tranny?

ie: suspension or brakes or something?

If there isn't much difference, i might try to find a cheap rsx and just throw a k24/20 frankenstein in there.
 
interior is cheaper. S comes with leather and nicer appointments
 
i see. So type S have leather front seats? I do want a nicer interior though...

I know alot of people like leather seats, but i personally hate them. o_O
 
i have seen type S with cream color interior. the nicest of all is the all black :)
 
Intake manifold

I wonder if you can install on a acura rsx non type s intake manifold of one type s acura rsx, thanks.
 
I've seen type S's selling in the 6000 range. Just pay a few extra bucks and get the better car.
 
The RXS-S was an uprated verion of thr RXS.
Amoung the differences:
RSX-S/RSX
K20a2 vs K20a3 (the a2 with 197 {197 hp, true VTEC} vs 160 from the a3 with i-vtec

Stiffer springs
different gearing
differently sized front and rear sway bars
There were also some chasis stiffening bits that I want to use on my EP3.
